Effective July 1, 2003, SEMAC will have only THREE grant deadlines per year. Projects cannot start until 60 days after the deadline application date.
July 1 – for projects beginning September 1st or later.
- Artists in Education Grants
October 1 – for projects beginning December 1st or later.
- Presenter/Production Assistance Grants
- Small Towns/Rural Areas Grants
February 1 – for projects beginning April 1st or later.
- McKnight General Operating Support Grants
- Original Works (Emerging/Established Artists) Grants
Effective July 1, 2003, the following on-going grant categories have been eliminated:
- Opportunity Grants
- Mentorship Grants
- Arts Management Training Grants
Grant Review Meeting Dates:
- July 26, 2007 (for July 1 proposals)
- October 25, 2007 (for October 1 proposals)
- February 28, 2008 (for February 1 proposals)
